today's vision is so blurry. i saw doubles in the morning. lol...
i looked at my phone when i finally decided to wake up and then i saw 2 "monday", 2 "january 17" etc etc. gave me such a shock.
initially i cant even see font-size 50 text that's a metre away. then it gradually improved in the day. (so now i can see what i'm typing. lol.)
sigh... but my right eye's as weak as usual. so if i close my left eye, all that's left for me to see is just a bunch a colours that resembles some text. ok, maybe not as bad but i'll have to strain my eye a little if i wanna see what i'm typing.
anyway. i worked for 2 days since A levels ended. it's a feat.
i earned... $162. provided the boss don't deduct half an hour when i went for lunch.
the pay isn't too bad. but the job scope sucks. wtf. i thought cashiers are only supposed to write bills and collect money. in the end, it's like, bao-ga-liao. i mean, can't the aunties help us out a little? and aiyo, don't be such a scrooge, people.
finally, the boss and lady boss are crooks. they write bounced cheques like as though they're good for banking. and then when you bank them, you realise those aren't even cheques from a cheque-book --- just a photocopied version. (yes, that's how much of a miser they are!! fancy paying people $6 an hour and then make them slog their ass off as though they're paying them $12/hour. GET REAL.)
and when people quit the job (it happens DAMN frequently for obvious reasons.) the lady boss will get all sarcastic and say things like "i thought you said to work till ___? good kids keep their promise." (sorry yeah, but smart kids will leave immediately.)
then when news of us quitting spread to the next booth, the supervisor tried to jio us to work for him. (i'm like LOL?!) he looked a little stern before this happened. and when he tried to jio us over, he was like, all smiley and a little shy. (._.;)~
