i like this guy, really. okay, he probably doesn't give a damn about the people he has killed but towards shuurei, he's always gentle.
always kind.
all he asked of her was to play erhu, tie his hair, or make some tea. (even though all he wanted to do was to possess her, making her belonging to him and only him.)
and then he died in the end. he wanted shuurei to make him some ganlu tea (a tea that she only makes for her loved ones.. more specifically her father and seiran). so that day, he took a gamble against shuurei.
he placed a lethal but slow poison into the pot of hot water, and the antidote to the poison to the ganlu tea leaves. after that, he removed all other tea leaves but ganlu tea leaves.
then he requested shuurei to make him some ganlu tea.
shuurei refused, and poured him hot water instead.
he smiled, but still drank the hot water.
then he requested for ganlu tea again... he said "i'll rather die if i can't drink ganlu tea made by shuurei..."
shuurei pondered for a moment, and poured him more hot water.
so... true enough, he took poison that's enough to kill him for ten lifetimes just because shuurei refused to make him some ganlu tea (to her, ganlu tea symbolises love, care, concern etc... so sakujun, knowing this, wanted to be showered in shuurei's "love, care and concern")
and then before he died, he and seiran had a gamble. and they were talking during the gamble.
seiran asked if shuurei made ganlu tea for him.
sakujun replied: "yeah. it was...tasty." and he looked away.
okay maybe he tried to kill seiran in the last gamble (cuz he knew seiran was an important man to shuurei and was jealous of this) and he killed his own brother and massacred the whole of Lin clan, but he was always gentle to shuurei, never asking anything much, and when she couldn't love him back, he decided to end his boring life. (walao eh... FIGHT LA!! i wanna see ryuuki VS sakujun leh. confirm + guaranteed to be a VERY good show. ok, maybe ryuuki + seiran VS sakujun :D)
