JC1s came in and NY is bustling with activities. I abosolutely love the new vibrancy in the school!
every time when half of the JC2 have their breaks together due to the coincidence of breaks in the time table, the JC1s have their breaks too! the only difference between the JC1 and the JC2 is that the JC1 gets released earlier than the JC2 :) and that they get wayyyy longer breaks than the JC2. cool right? then the JC2 will get to eat something new due to the long queues in the canteen --- cup noodles. moreover, the JC2s get to cultivate a new eating habit too --- gobbling while standing.
if there's something lovely about the JC1, it must be that they're so enthusiastic about PW and research! :) you know, there was once when i just wanted to use the common PC in the canteen (which is on from around 9am~5pm) to check the venue for the University talks, 1 JC came and said "ta ma de" (meaning "your mother one", A.K.A "f your mother") because i've used "her" computer for 30 seconds! just LOOK how enthusiastic they are about research, PW and computer usage :)
the JC1 are really sociable too :) every time there's breaks, they don't just sit at the table and strengthen the bonds between them; they actually stand up and communicate too! it's so rare to see people standing at the queueing area just to chit-chat! :) just how sociable they can be :)
did i mention that the JC1 are really innovative? during breaks, some of them don't queue to buy --- they cut away the "queue" and just buy (a.k.a cut queue.) such innovative practice and it's so nice of them to help get such a thing in practive in NY!
SEEE?! JC1 ROCKS.
