i didn't really like this person before the show but OMG! i think he's getting cooler and more handsome with every passing episode :) though in this show, he's a very sickly man (with horrible make up to accentuate his facial features due to his illness) but i still think he's such a SHUAI GE :D (and i dun normally have this "Shuai ge" view on guys :X)

and darnnnn~ he's a hottie~ lalala :) righteous, smart, caring, considerate though super sickly. in today's episode, he's literally a dying man. but but! he proposed to the female lead because... he wishes to fufil his dad's dying wish to continue with the business (his dad wish that the business wouldn't land in the hand of outsiders and his children are not up to the mark - Second Master is a dying man and Third Master is a playboy who knows nuts about running a business.) The bogus marriage was only to fufil his dad's final wish because the female lead will be able to continue with the family business with the status of a Hu, a member of the Hu family. the female lead, however, reject Second Master's offer for a bogus marriage; she wanted a real marriage (with the consummation) because she felt indebted to Second Master and it's only right for a woman to remain faithful to her husband till the day she dies. :)

Second Master, being the righteous man he is, rejected her offer downright. Well, we all know he loves her deeply but, his excuse for rejecting her was: "you misunderstood me, I've never loved you." <-LIARRR!

To protect her chastity and reputation, Second Master then went to write a letter personally despite that he's so seriously illed to even walk properly.

awwww~ though it was selfish of him to ask her to marry him when he's already on the verge of death, but he still rejected her offer to consummate their marriage... he wanted her to have happiness with Nie ZhiYuan (a.k.a the mildly retarded block of wood.) as she would be allowed to remarry after his death.

bleh, i think the female lead should just feed Second Master some weird stuff on their day of marriage then really consummate the marriage. at the very least, there's a possibility that Second Master will have a Little Second Master :P (cuz... Second Master was one of those genius business trader in the show. he was his father's backstage super computer xP and under his charge, the business strifed and the company become the richest in the country.)

and then maybe the son will have Second Master's looks and intelligence :P (then the character who acts as Second Master can come out again ♥♥)
